I wanted to get little pails for an egg hunt, and I found some polka-dot ones (I'm totally crazy for anything with dots), they came in yellow, pink and blue. I liked the pink and blue best, because the polka-dots stood out better. But I was not totally into the whole pink/blue, boy/girl thing; I try to avoid it as much as I can, mostly because it is so overdone that it totally annoys me. But I bought them anyways, and went home with my two little pails and showed them to my kids. My son said, "Can I have the pink one?", and my daughter, "Blue one, blue one!". I guess I don't have anything to worry about. And bonus points for them not both wanting the same one!
So here are some photos of them enjoying their egg hunt and ridiculous pre-breakfast candy eating (oh I have such fond memories of that once a year kind of fun). Note the polka-dot theme extending past just the pails: baskets, eggs, bunnies.
Meava dove right in, unwrapped her bunny and started eating it within seconds. Anderson took his time checking everything out, probably actually noticing the lovely polka-dot wrapper on his bunny. Maeva didn't even bother egghunting, and just got into eating everything in her basket. Anderson did the egg hunt and kept taking breaks to admire his stash. I love how different these two little people are.
LOVE LOVE LOVE these photos of the sweetest kids in the world!!! (well, I am their Baba....!)
