On our last day we wandered around Ediburgh one last time, did some shopping, and stopped at restaurants and places we had missed or wanted to revisit. We then took the train to Glasgow, had dinner there and walked the streets of Glasgow a bit. Then off to the airport hotel to catch a flight early the next morning.
Kiltmaker where John ordered himself a kilt! He gets it in late October.
Saying goodbye to our flat...and to Edinburgh
This was our daily walk from our flat, through Holyrood Park and to the base of the Royal Mile
Starbucks breakfast...a daily thing.
especially for the WiFi for updates on how our kids were doing
Amber Whisky Restaurant
John finally has haggis. He loves it too!
Puts hair on your face, ha ha.
He didn't shave all week...because for hot water your had to turn the switch on for an hour to heat up the tank, so he was never organized enough for that!
The shower did have a hot water on demand unit though.
Rest stop at yet another bench. The babies are growing from all that haggis!
Train back to Glasgow, where we fly out. The train stop signs in Gaelic.
Glasgow at night.
